Second weigh-in of the site and things are looking pretty decent…
February 3, 2010 weight: 341.8 lbs
January 27, 2010 weight: 345.6 lbs
January 6, 2010 weight: 360 lbs
I’m happy for the 3.8 pound weight loss this week but I know it could have been better. I went the entire weekend without a workout and not eating all that great as well. So I’m motivated for this weekend, even though it’s a big Sunday, I will get my butt on the elliptical machine and make up for the calories I consume.
Couple other things:
A) I know I said I would post pictures, and I indeed took one this morning, but after opening it I realized that a phone camera may not be the best picture taking device…especially if you have hobbit feet like me.
2) If you don’t follow me on twitter, I would love it if you could…currently I have 0, so feel free to be the first.
I say ‘Official’ because in my mind this whole thing started three weeks ago, but as far as the internet the concerned today is the first time I have weighed in and posted it.
Here’s the details:
(Pictures will began next week, didn’t think about it @ 6:30 this morning)
January 27, 2010 weight: 345.6 lbs
January 6, 2010 weight: 360 lbs
Say whaaat! For the mathematically challenged that is a total of 14.4 lbs, at roughly 5 pounds a week I could reach my goal of 220 lbs in (….computing….) 25 weeks. Of course I most likely won’t lose 5 pounds a week, but I must say that things are looking pretty good. So far the only person to thank for the support is my wife…so wife, I love you, thank you so much for the encouragement and the healthy delicious meals.
I trashed the default WordPress hello world post, so I guess this will be my own custom hello post.
So…Hello, here’s all the pertinent info:
Name: Will
Age: 24
Weight: 360 (Starting)
Occupation: Systems Analyst (knowing this may help with subject matter later on)
Marital Status: Married, to the most amazingly wonderful and gorgeous woman (I had a guy in high school tell me that even though I was fat I am the type of guy that ends up with a model…that guy is apparently a prophet).
Tomorrow I will have exercised and eaten relatively healthily for three weeks straight or 21 days* and I must say it feels somewhat frustrating. I don’t mean frustrating in the sense that it’s been hard to do, it wasn’t, and that is precisely the reason I feel this way. The fact is that it has been relatively easy to do, although the first 4 days or so were somewhat tough. I feel like a knuckle head that it took me so long to start doing it.
Anywho, this blog will be another motivator on my journey down the road to the world of the unrotund.
